I was adopted in 1949. On my original birth certifcate are the names George Ernest Bryant and Margaret Mary Bryant otherwise Gignac. I have traced this lady and she married an Albert Edward Cooper in 1978 in Westminster. Am trying to trace any relatives of any of the above people with a view to them telling me hopefully anything about my mother/father. Margaret originally married a Jean Gignac in 1943. She then appears with George Bryant in 1948 and I was born in 1949. Following this as above she appears to marry Albert Cooper in Westminster. Albert I believe died in 1986 in Westminster. I was born in 1949 at Chiswick Hospital. My parents were George Ernest Bryant and Margaret Mary Bryant "otherwise Gignac". I say "otherwise Gignac" as this is the name under my mother's maiden name, I do believe she wasn't married to George Ernest Bryant. My mother was a housekeeper. I think the name came from her marriage to Jean A N Gignac in 1943. My parents lived at 28 The Vale, Golders Green in 1949, the year I was born. I was adopted in 1951, the Adoption Order being made by Barnet County Court. Am trying to trace anything about myself if anyone out there could help please. The name Rabette appears as my mother's maiden name when she married Jean Gignac. This lady is a mystery. I have since traced a Margaret Mary Gignac who married Albert E Cooper in 1978 at Westminster. There is no further information. I do not have money to pay for credits now to search any further having spent a fortune finding out the above. My name appears on the register twice but under the same index reference.
