| Message: | i am trying to trace any information about any ancestors/siblings of jack ellis. he was born in peel, isle of man in 1884 and ran away from home at the age of 12 to liverpool. there is no census information about him in 1901 census either in the isle of man or england. so whether he changed his name thinking he may get into trouble for running away. he then served in the boar war in 1901 onwards and at some point married elizabeth farrell and they had 4 children. all his war medals are in the name of jack ellis though? i am unable to trace this marriage so any information would be greatfully received | |

Alan, his brother Trevor and some mates were holidaying in Bournemouth and we met on the beach. I was just wondering what happened to him, if he was ok, how life was treating him. | Message: | Bill served in the Royal Navy for many years.when I knew him he was on HMS TORQUAY that was in 1972/73.Then at Chatam Naval base in 1974/75 which was the last time I saw him and the last time he saw his daughter Nicola now 33yrs of age.Nicola is due to graduate this year from Liverpool Uni and woul love to see her dad again and introduce him to his two grandaughters aged 11+14 yrs.She has searched for him for many years as have I.A friend of his from HMS TORQUAY did leave a message once but no contact address.When Bill and I were together I lived in Liverpool with my parents,I would dearly love to re-unite him and my / his daughter etc who he must have wondered about over the years as Bill and I split up and when we last spoke at Chatham Naval base I was then married to a guy in the Army. | |

| Message: | Can anybody help? I am looking for Gordon (nicknamed Joss) Campbell, whom I met in Cape Town in 1972. He was in the Fleet Air Arms Division on board the HMS Devonshire. The ship docked at Simonstown en route to Singapore. We wrote for some months and then lost contact. My maiden name at the time was Krog. Gordon was based at Portsmouth and I do know that he had a daughter named Ladonna.
