| Message: | I would be gratefull for any information that anyone might have regarding my father 2209274 John H Jones (may have been known as Jack). He was a wireless operator and flew with 166 Squadron at Kirmington starting in either late 1944 or early 1945 and was probably either a Sgt or Flt Sgt. I remember him saying that his aircraft was AS-T which was nicknamed 'Tear-arse'. He took part in the Manna food drops and he was on the raid to Berchesgarten in April 1945. | |

| Message: | I am trying to find any information regarding my uncle, Kenneth Palmer a sgt pilot on Lancasters during the last war. I know he also spent time in Canada as an instructor. The only information I have is that he was lost at the end of the war in the Far East. If anyone has any information I would be most grateful as I know very little about him, and only have one photograph. | |

| Message: | harry "the boxer" bell was my grandad, i am desperately trying to locate any information about him as he died when i was quite young. he started to write a book about his adventures during ww2 but to this day cannot be found. he was candian (and had family there), i am told he was with the pathfinders, i remember calling him harry the boxer, although i am sure harry wasn't his first name, he was at raf newton at some time where my grandma also worked - eileen bell. any information would be greatly appreciated. | |
