He was a Chef at Tilley's Restaurant/Bar in Newcastle Upon Tyne in 1939 and joined The Royal Navy sometime after 1940 as a Seaman / Cook. After the WW2, George went back to number 187 Hamilton Street Arthur's Hill in Newcastle to live but don't know what happened to him after that.
