| Message: | My son, James Jonathan Furlong, is searching for his natural grandparents on his paternal side. James' father, Jonathan Lemmer, was born on 15 January 1960 in St. Marylebone, London. Birth mother's maiden name was "Lemmer". The only information we have is that the natural father played rugby for the Springbok back in the late 50's, early 60's and that the natural mother came from South Africa to London, stayed with her sister, had the baby adopted and apparently went back to live in South Africa. He was white South Africaan and she was French Huegenot. James would love to make any contact, if possible, with his natural grandparents or any other family member should they still be alive. I am not sure whether Francine's first name was also changed at adoption. Francine was brought up with me for the first two years of our life (I am a few months older). They went back to UK in 1990. She divorced her husband. In 1998 she came to visit me in Dortmund/Germany and after that we lost contact. All I know is that she remarried and her name was then Henderson. I have been searching for her for years now. I hope someone can help me! | |
