| Message: | I am an author currently researching the history and past times of the HALLSANDS HOTEL near Kingsbridge, South Devon, for a forthcoming book. Frank Barnett SPITTLE (birth name, also spelt SPITAL, SPITALL and SPITTAL), and his wife ALICE MARY SPITAL (nee POCOCK, born Salisbury) had the Hallsands Hotel buillt in 1907. One of their daughters, Margaret SPITAL (born 1902), married Reginald T BOLTON in Bath, in 1931. Reginald died in 1986 in Bath and Margaret died June 1998, also in Bath. If there are any surviving members of the family, they may know more of this past connection to the Hallsands Hotel.
