| Message: | I am searching for the adopted sisters of my nanna, Joyce Mavis Grimble. She was born Joyce Mavis Taylor in 1942 or 43 and was adopted and took on the name Whiteman. Since then she has married and was known as Joyce Grimble until divorced. I am searching for her elder sister Winnifred May who I know to have been based in Aldershot in the forces. Winnie May also located her birth mother in Derby. I also believe that Margaret joined the circus. I dont know a lot about these ladies but I know that Joyce and Mavis did meet up again when Joyce was having her first son in Grimsby. It would mean the world to me to find out more about this side of my family, and my nanna has always been curious as to what came of her sisters. Mary was resident at the Borrowash House Catholic Mother & Baby home and I was placed for adoption shortly afterwards. Mary was from Ireland but had been living in England for 4 years. My father as named above was with my mother Karen Cruse for a few years between 1982 -1985 they lived in derby and in the march of 1987 both put me and my brother richard up for adoption.. any information regarding his where abouts would be greatly recieved..... previous postin reads: My name is Joanne ( but i was born johan louise cruse ) i was adopted when i was 2 maybe 3 yr years old.Ive been brought up in nottingham. I was adopted with my older brother Richard who is 18 months older then me, his D.O.B is 13.9.83 and my D.O.B is the 31.03.85. I think since i was addopted 2 more boys were born which would make them my Half brothers...... MARK ANTHONY CRUSE in November 1988 and MICHAEL RONALD L CRUSE in October 1989 I know i was took in to care when i was 6 months but karen (sirname was ward) did have us back for a while and moved in with her sister...... her sisters name is christen i was born in derby on buchan street an i was adopted when i was 2 in nottingham. im looking for both my parents and any other sibling i may have.
