John GANDY was born to Percy and Elizabeth Mary (nee FOX) GANDY in Eccles (probably at "Kingsley", Chatsworth Road) and probably no earlier than 1928 and no later than 1930. "Baby Girl" WOOLLER was born to Bernard and Jessie Lenore (nee FOX) WOOLLER probably in South Africa and probably no earlier than 1936. Baby Girl had some sort of stomach trouble that necessitated her mother bringing her back to Manchester in early 1939. Bernard and Jessie lived at "The Hague", Bertram Road, Sea Point, Capetown, So. Africa in 1931; I don't know if they were still at that address in 1939. | |
