| Message: | Ive been trying to find my birth father for the past 34 years, his name is Charles Buist, and in 1954 he worked for Norwest Holst or Holst Construction Edinburgh, and he was sub contracted to ICI in Avonmouth Bristol, my mums name is Joan Tomes, its believed he had a wife called peggy or margaret and a daughter called mary, or it could be visa versa, im not quite sure, my mum has been trying to think of anything relevant. In 1954 he was staying at a place called Lakeland Chalets in Severn Beach, thats where he met my mum, please if anyone has any information let me know thanks | |

| Message: | I'm trying to locate my Dad who's last known address was a flat in Nicholson Street in Edinburgh back in the early 1960's where he stayed with my mother Christine & I. These flats have since been knocked down & I've had no luck on the local electoral roles or the sally army! I think he may have spent a short time at RAF Bridgenorth around November 1961. I've also been led to believe he had some connection with the Painting & Decorating trade! Also as he had alot of middle names, I'm not sure if I have them exactly right, but his surname is not that common. I also think his family may have had some connection with Macmerry in East Lothian. | |
