My birth name was Phyllis born 04.08.1954.Born in Murrayfield maternity home. Hope someone out there might know where she went or if she married. | |

| Seeking: | Stephens Vinnicombe | |
| Location: | Edinburgh and The Lothians : No Town Information | |
| Message: | We are searching for Our Brother possibly with the surname of Stephens or Vinnicombe. Our brother was born between 1942 and 1945, at Southwood House, Lanner Moor, Lanner, Near Redruth, Cornwall. Our Mother did not want to give you away, but due to circumstances had no choice. We are not sure if, you were brought up by another member of the family, but we would dearly love to trace you. We do not know your name, but you are our little brother, you have 3 older sisters. Our Mother was Violet Stephens (nee Vinnicombe) born in 1911, sadly she passed away in 1958. She was married to Oscar Stephens who sadly passed away in 1952. Most of our family grew up in the Redruth area in Cornwall, and some remain so. You were once spotted in St Day, and it is belived that you are living somewhere in that area. We know you have a son who married about 3/4 years ago, we do not know if this is your only child. You may not know the circumstances surrounding your birth, and we just wanted you to know that Mum really loved you and was devasted to give you up, we would like to know that you have had a happy life. We do not want to intrude on your life if this is not what you want, but our doors and arms are open for you. All My Love, your big sis Shirley X | |

| Seeking: | Michael Hellicker Hellicar | |
| Location: | Edinburgh and The Lothians : No Town Information | |
| Message: | Dear Michael K Hellicker I keep posting. We so much want to find you. You were born in the third quarter of 1966. Your natural Mum was called Cooling from Totnes, Devon. My Mum fostered you for a long time. We took you to the Orthopaedic to have your 6th toe removed from one of your feet. Sadly, eventually the old Welfare department took you away to be fosterd into a wealthier family. The Welfare lady put you in to the back of her car and then came back and asked my Mum for some dung manure for her garden. it is so sad. We have always missed you and wondered where you went. I am now 48. You were special to us. Where the helll are you. You must be nearly 42. I think you went to a Services family. I would so much like to know where the dear little boy went and how you are now. Take care. | |

| Seeking: | Compton Vincent Allan | |
| Location: | Edinburgh and The Lothians : No Town Information | |
| Message: | I am and have been searching for 10years now, for my grandad. My mum last saw him when she was four, she was taken from him from Maesdu Bridge, Llandudno in 1971. Compton was nicknamed Jonny...where this originated from i do not know. Compton married my mums mother in Nov 1966, then my mum was born in April 1967, in the Family hospital on Catterick Camp, based in Yorkshire where Compton was based as a Royal Private Army Medical Corps. We believe Compton is originally from Guyana, and may even have gone back there? Which would explain why I cant locate him in the UK. Wolverhampton is the last place where anyone can place him, however this is through hear say. I would be eternally grateful for any help or advice given. God Bless | |

| Location: | Edinburgh and The Lothians : No Town Information | |
| Message: | I am searching for my daughter who we believe was swapped accidently at birth with another girl who we now call our daughter. We found out after her having a blood transfusion that our blood types make us impossible to be her biological parents. Our daughter would be blond with blue eyes, born August 1981 (between the 11th and 21st) our daughter was born the 18th so it has to be close to that. Type A blood or AB. She was born in Ashcombe house Maternity hosbital which has been torn down now. For any information please e-mail me | |
