| Message: | My name is Laurence Peddle.In the early 1960's, when I was 18 and Marie Curtis was 14, I courted her for a year or so, and then we went our separate ways. At that time she was living in Corntown, near Ewenny, with her mother, and she attended Heol Gam school in Bridgend.I have never forgotten her, and what prompts me to try to get in touch with her now is that I recently presented a paper on the meaning of life to a philosophy reading group at Cardiff University. In that paper I mentioned my first love, and a particular summer's day when we sat on a stile just by Ewenny Priory.
