| Message: | Hi all, i am researching my fathers family of who i have very little information. i would appreciate any help please. my fathers father was an RAF man and after leaving my father in hampshire moved to scotland around 1949,his name was Frederick slater born 04.04.1918 in oldham, he married his second wife we assume in scotland her name was margaret mary o'brien slater and she died on 13.11.1960 on way to hospital. they lived we believe royston hill area. we also believe they had 3 possibly 4 children who following their mothers death were put in a home . they would be small pre teen obviously at the time of their mothers death. does anyone know their names or remember margaret and fred? please help my dad is getting old now and would like to know the truth. many thanks and kind regards lindy x | |
