| Message: | I am looking for anybody who may have known my husband's father, Albert Murray. All we have is his death certificate. We believe he was born on December 19th 1944 in Battersea, England. At some stage he was in one of Father Hudson's Homes in Coleshill. He was in one of these homes until he was sent here (Western Australia) on the Strathaird in January 1955. We have no idea which home he was put into here. We have no photographs. He passed away in 1981 at the age of 36. His death certificate shows his mother's name as Mary Murray. I assume she was an unwed mother as his father's name is not on the certificate. I would love to be able to put together a book for my husband and our children. I am hoping somebody will be able to help me find more information. | |

My grandmother is her younger sister and she is the only one left out of 5 children. Their mum and dad were William Horace and Doris Edith Newman (Geall) and Joyce lived in Sandringham Road, Willesden, Middlesex Willesdon Green in the 1940's. | Message: | I ask you to help in a search of any data about my reative and on a place of his burial. My relative Krijak Kirill Efimovich of the 1918th year of birth, native of the village Mikhailovka in Kiev region, he was called in April 1944 by the military registration and enlistment office of Tetiyev in Kiev region on the front during the Second World war. On July 16, 1944 he lost and was buried in the village Perosichi of the Gorokhovsky region of the Volynsk area. So it was officially reported to his family. But, in 1955 he sent a letter to his wife about that. He is alive and lives in England on address: 9 Lamb st. Ardvick green, Manchester 13. There also was an information that he moved from Manchester to London and he had another family in England. He died approximately in 1973-75 in London after his long illness. During his lifetime, probably, he had a small manufactory enterprise for production of painted scarfs and shawls. I don't have any another information about his life abroad. | |
