| Message: | I am looking for my half-brother, Brian Jameson / Jamieson - I'm not sure how it is spelled.I think he may be in his late 20's early 30's by now. I don't know much about wot happened but his real father's name is Brian Hopkins. I think his mother (Jane Jameson) was around 16 or 17 years old when she had him. She later went on to marry a man who was in the RAF and I think he took on his surname. Brian Hopkins went on to join the army as a bandsman in the Queen's own Highlanders, Seaforth and Cameron and eventually moved to Perth, Scotland and worked as a staff nurse in Perth Royal Infirmary. I would really like to get in touch with him, and let him know that he has 2 half brothers and a half sister (me)looking for him. I've tried searching for him for a long time but unfortunately i have had no luck. Please, if anyone knows who i am talking about, please don't hesitate to get in touch. i hope someone can help me... | |

| Message: | Hugh Campbell Green, born 3/7/1913 in Nairn, Scotland was my father who died in 1985. He married my mother, Annie Isabel Urquhart, born 26/8/1912 Nairn, in Port Elizabeth in 1942. My dad was illegitimate. His mother was Ann Margaret Green (Peg) who lived in Castle Lane, Nairn before moving after Dad's birth to Dumfries. Dad's aunt, Elizabeth, brought him up in Nairn where he attended the Academy. My maternal grandparents were John Urquhart & Mary Dunbar - their children were George, Willie, Jack, Mary (Evans) and Jack (emigrated to South Africa). PLEASE, if you recognise any of these peoples names, I would be so grateful to hear from you. I'm doing a family tree for my grandchildren. | |
