| Message: | Hi, My name is Suzanne, I am a 42 year old adoptee from New Zealand, and I am trying to trace my birth father. His name is Donald McPhee, he would be in his 60's if still alive and came from the Isle Of Skye in Scotland. He was in New Zealand as a merchant seaman for approximately 3 weeks in 1962 in the Wellington, New Zealand area. My birth mothers name is Yvonne Goodin, whom now lives in Australia and is aged 63. I have a photo of the two of them together and I look exactly like him. He may have red hair as I myself do. I do not want to disrupt his life in any way, I just am interested in finding out my Scottish history and to find out something about him. I do not know if he ever married. Yvonne apparently wrote to him and told him she was pregnant, but he never replied. Any help in this matter would be very much appreciated. Thanks. | |

| Message: | looking for information on roy milne,was belived to have married the daughter of a vicar on the isle of skye,in the 1930/1940s.moved to bury st edmunds,and had maybe 2 children,later divorced.and then remarried and lived in rhos on sea,north wales ,worked as a painter and decorator,and might have had a bag shop,would now be in his eighties if still living .anyone with ANY information,please help.as i think i might have two or three half sisters or brothers out there somewhere,and i am keen to find them as i am an only child | |

| Message: | i am looking for roy milne,whose surname might have been burr-milne,i belive that he married the daughter of a vicar from the isle of skye,some time between1920 and 1930,i think he had two children,and had moved to bury st edmonds,he later divorced and married again and was living in colwyn bay/rhos on sea area in 1947,i think he had another daughter some time in the mid to late 40,s who ithink might still be living in that area still.if any of this info rings a bell with anyone i would be interested in any info you could provide.he would be in his 90,s if still living | |
