| Message: | i am trying to trace any information about any ancestors/siblings of jack ellis. he was born in peel, isle of man in 1884 and ran away from home at the age of 12 to liverpool. there is no census information about him in 1901 census either in the isle of man or england. so whether he changed his name thinking he may get into trouble for running away. he then served in the boar war in 1901 onwards and at some point married elizabeth farrell and they had 4 children. all his war medals are in the name of jack ellis though? i am unable to trace this marriage so any information would be greatfully received | |
