His brothers names are Joseph Davies,Harry Davies(Dec),William Henry Hawthorn (Dec).His father died in world war 2, we have been told and his mother died when he was 5yo. He then lived with his brother William Henry Hawthorn and his wife Norma Hawthorn nee Poachin.
