| Message: | Hi this is a long shot back in 64/65 my brother fathered a little girl but circumstances at the time meant that she was adopted. All i know is that he lived in harrogate at the time his name was Victor Wright I do not know the mothers name. I was in the army at the time so she would be about 45/46yrs old now and it's possible she was given a different name when adopted. If anyone recognises my brothers name (he would have been known by someone who played darts in the pubs) I would love to meet my neice if I can trace her and she is willing. Thankyou | |

| Message: | I am desperately seeking my natural Grandmother. The name I have for her is Jean/Jeanne Grant-Mason. She gave birth to my father on the 21st of February 1948, I believe in Tadcaster. My father was born John Gran-Mason, and was adopted by Edward and May Longbottom, of Halifax, when he became Christopher John Longbottom. I believe the adoption would have been done through, or in conjuction with the Methodist Church of the area. She would probably be in her late 70s now. I do not know if she remarried, or if she was even from that area. The only other Grant-Masons I have been able to find have been in Scotland, so she may have come from there. If anyone thinks they have even the smallest piece of information, please, please contact me. I have urgent news for this lady, if she is still alive, and with the dates involved I feel I am running out of time to find her. ANYTHING would be helpful. Thank you so much.
