| Message: | I would like to find my birth parents or any other family members I may have. I was born on the 22nd April 1968 and was given the name Gary by my mother. I was adopted later that same year and was in foster care up until my adoption. I only know my birth mother as Susan and that she lived in Oxford. She was 17 when I was born and was a tall slender lady with long light brown hair and blue eyes. My fathers name was Royston, also from Oxford and he was 18 with brown hair and brown eyes and was a trainee mechanic. At the time they were very fond of each other but not ready for marriage, therefore I do not know whether they married or separated. | Message: | I've been searching for years for my mum's best friend MARY CLARK(?E), youngest child of 4, who would be approx 63/64 years old now (born 1948/49). She lived at Niddrie Marischal Grove, Craigmillar, Edinburgh. She attended St Francis Primary School and St Johns Secondary School both Edinburgh. Mary worked in a Pawn Shop called Duncan’s at Surgeons Hall, Edinburgh before moving to Bicester when she was approx 17/18 years old where she got a job in a garage. It is believed that they lived at 8 Rookery Way, Bicester and moved round the corner to Leech Road. She had 2 sisters Ruth and Stella and a brother Ed (or Eddie); her mum and dad were called Mary and Eddie (or Edward). My mum is called Mary Affleck (maiden name) who also lived in Craigmillar, Edinburgh. Please contact me if you know of Mary or even only have a small piece of info that could help me with my search.
