He was a Chef at Tilley's Restaurant/Bar in Newcastle Upon Tyne in 1939 and joined The Royal Navy sometime after 1940 as a Seaman / Cook. After the WW2, George went back to number 187 Hamilton Street Arthur's Hill in Newcastle to live but don't know what happened to him after that. She had at least one child (Julienne St-Pierre - Laird) Sarah Married a Henry Laird in Mar 26th 1940 at Gourock. She gave birth to Julienne at the Maternity Hospital at Johnstone. . It is believed she moved down to Buckinghamshire area around 1945/46 a she gave Julienne up for adoption. Sarah it is believed also had a sister Jane Duff McAulay (1922). Sarah & Janes Parents where Peter McAulay & Jane McGinn (Peter & Jane married 17 June 1918 - St Anthonys Chapel,Govan.)
