| Message: | I was born Susan Jones on the 8th October 1950.My birth mother was mary matilda Jones(formerly Matthews born 18th November 1923 now deceased) of 20 Hamilton Road Warley Smethwick Staffs, a machinist in an enineering factory. I have now discovered that my fathers name is Luke Dickens born 1926 of addellam Road Smethwick. It appears that i may have a half brother who went to live with an aunt in London & also half sister who was the daughter of Mary & the man she married Mr Jones, he divorced her for desertion.Mary loved to dance etc. I would love to meet any of my real family. I was adopted as a baby & my adopted parents both died 38 years ago. July 4th .. This is one of the best days of my life thanks to all the help informatiom & thoughtfulness of all the people that have helped me. Today i have found my dad. All this has happened within 24hrs thanks to you all ...truley unbelievable. I cannot thankyou you all enough. Luke is such a lovely man & i cannot wait to see him. | Message: | Hi, I am looking for Philip Ward born in Bilston, Wolverhampton in March 1953 (not sure of the exact date). He was adopted at a very young age, after the death of his mother in 1955. He has 3 older siblings (which he may not know about) who were all adopted to different families. These siblings have just been reunited after 56 years and are now longing to be reunited with their younger brother. Philip may have a different surname now and rumours are that he was adopted by a doctor from the hospital, not sure how true this is. | Message: | Does anyone know this lady, she would be about 76-79 now, in 1950 she was a pastry cook and lived in Albert Street, Longton, Stoke-on-Trent. UPDATE:Just found how to edit this. Thanks to all who replied. The person you all mentioned was the right person and I have found not only my Birth Mother but a Birth Aunt! I write letters to my BM and speak to Aunt on the phone (BM is deaf, so phone is difficult). They are old ladies at 86 and 93 but only live 35 miles away and we are hoping to meet soon.
