| Message: | Searching for the above named person. he was born to Mabel Valentine Harding, [nee Herrington] and William H F Harding in 1941 and at that time lived at Elliots Drive, Yeovil, Somerset.Soon after birth, he was put up for adoption and in all probability was given the name of his new parents and was unaware of his adoption. No other information is known about him and he could have children and grandchildren of his own. | Message: | Hi, I am posting this message on behalf of a friend , although it may seem to be an epic, I thank you for taking the time to read it and possibly unravel and fit some of the pieces together for her. Her story reads- she was born 1944 at Yeatman Hospital, Sherbourne to a Mabel Valentine Harding (nee Herrington) and married to William H F Harding at Camberwell in 1936. Mabel,went on to have 3 children during this marriage. The first being Kenneth William Harding born 1937. the second being Phillip John Harding born 1941 who was subsequently put up for adoption and may have had a name change. The third born was Mavis Christine Harding who was also adopted, and had a change of name.It is unclear re her biological father as no fathers name is entered on the birth certificate, although her mother was still married to William. Mavis, was adopted in 1945 to a Frederick Norman and his wife Edith Emmeline, and lived in the Minehead Somerset area. She is now seeking the whereabouts and any information referring to the above three men and possibly her birth father if different from her two elder brothers. Mabel and William Harding became divorced, date unknown, and until then, lived at Elliott Drive, Yeovil, Somerset. It is known, that Mabel remarried 2/1955 at Chatham, Kent. They lived on the Isle of Sheppey until her death 1/9/1986 at Rochester Hospital, aged 69/70. Hoping someone out there can fill in some missing pieces for her and her family.
