| Message: | My father is Joseph Thomason,born in 1925. He was in the Royal Navy and possibly the Merchant Navy from after the war until around 1963 and spent a lot of time in Malta. I have just found out that he lived with a woman in Malta and they had 4 children who will probably be aged from about 50 to 60's. Sadly I have no other information. He served on HMS Devonshire/Newfoundland and a few others.Does anyone have any recollection of him.Thanks. | |

| Message: | My name is Cheryl and I was born in Cardiff in 1965 and my sister in 1969. Our father apparantly was in the Brittish Navy and is ? Maltese. He served on a ship that was docked in Cardiff early 65 and late 68, I would be really greatful if anyone can tell me the name of the ship and how I can cross match the sailors from both ships. | Message: | I started this to look for a gentleman that my Mom had dated back in NYC during WWII. He was stationed on the Queen Elizabeth, and when she could not join him, he went back to England. There are no paternity issues, just she was always curious as to what happened with him over the years. She is getting up in years, and any information would be greatly appreciated. I met him also when the ship was in Chatham and we met up on the IOW. We were in touch for a couple of years as I remember. He had changed his name to the above by Deed Pole whilst in the RN. He was blonde blue eyes. I met him in Paignton Devon in 73 or 74 I think. I have been told he came out the Navy about 1980. Would love to get in touch.
