| Message: | For 10 years I have been searching for my sister born Mary Teresa Johnson known as Tess or Tessa, who was born in Birmingham in May 1945. There are 3 other brothers, Len, don & Ken. When we were all split up in 1950 I was adopted and am now a Smith. Mary was in Shenley Fields Children's home in the 1950s. She attended Cotteridge school, B'ham in 1958. She worked at the Palm court hotel 1960-1963 that we know of, and lived in. Apparently 1962ish she walked out of a house in Poole, Dorset while working there for the Knight family, who owned the hotel. And never went back. Does anyone know where she went please? That is the last we know of her whereabouts. There isn't a marriage for her in the UK. We have all the certificates for Mary T Johnsons from 1961-2005. She didn't use the health service in her name for many years. Did she change her name other than through marriage? Mary may not wish to be in touch, but all her brothers wish to know, is that she is ok and happy. Many thanks Michael Smith (nee Johnson) | |

| Message: | Does anyone know a JOHN TROOP or his wife ALICE CLARA TROOP?. John died in 1972 aged 98. He died in Langthorne Hospital, Leytonstone. They lived at 8 Union Rd, Walthamstow. Alice died 1989 . She was living at the time in Park View House, 212 Chingford Mount Rd, Chingford. I don't think they had any children as Alice was 53 when she married John.
