When we lived in England our address was 49 Chestnut Walk, Pulborough, West Sussex. I know his mother and father Margaret and Allen Page (not sure if correct names) lived at 14 Abbotts King's Rd., Brighton, East Sussex. I know my father's birthday is in June and I'm not sure of the year, but I would say sometime between 1947 and 1955. My name is Estelle and I was born 7.26.1981 in Redhill, Surrey. | Message: | I am an author currently researching the history and past times of the HALLSANDS HOTEL near Kingsbridge, South Devon, for a forthcoming book. Percy Mark COX (awarded the MBE in January 1945) was the Hotel's owner from 1937 until his death in February 1945, when he was serving as a Lt. Cmdr. with the Royal Navy at North Shields. In 1917 it is believed that Percy married Elisa A FREEMANTLE. One of their daughters was Shelagh COX, born 1937 in Gosport. Shelagh married Roger H PELLOW in 1958 at Gosport. There may still be surviving members of the PELLOW family who may know more of their relatives' history as regards Percy's Naval career and/or the Hallsands Hotel. | Message: | I'm trying to find a Christakis Constandinou who lived in Brockmoor, near Stourbridge from 1975-1999. Chris, ran a fish and chip shop called the Viking in Brockmoor, but also one in Cradley Heath High St (Now called the Hooked on Fish) at the end of the 70's. I believe friends of his were brothers called Chris and Simon (No surname) and a lady called Frieda - again, no surname. They also owned/ran chip shops - the brothers in Old Hill and Frieda in Stourbridge. I have 3 old addesses for Chris, but don't know where he is now. He previously lived at High St Brockmoor in the 70's: In the 80's at Norwood Road, Brockmoor and then at another address on High Street Brockmoor in the 90's. | |

| Message: | It has been 2 weeks since i posted a message for information on my son,whom i have not seen since 1970....I have his birth certificate etc...and other info which have been gathered in the last weeks...I have found out that he has posted a family tree on genesreunited...which ordinarily would be fantastic.But there has been no response..... There is also another posting on the same site...in the name of Gilbert Stephen Justice...which is one of the same my son....At one time prior to 1984 his Mother Margaret Dodds/Hutchin/Justice was married to Charles.A.E.justice....He sued her for divorce in 1984 I am waiting some news from National Archives Scotland...Margaret dob still not known..There have been quite a number of leads stemming from this wonderful site in the last 2 weeks....Here's hoping the next 2 wks will be as fruitful. My Son could be anywhere in England/Scotland.... If anyone out there has anything more than already offered...I will be deeply greatful...and any info i have will be gladly offered. Finally ...although i have not seen my son since he was 18months old....He was referred to by his middle name Stephen..Thak you all... | |

Until just by chance I noticed a search system on the internet that looked good so I tried it out..god it was good site it located my daughter after a few searches. | Message: | I am looking for my birth father, Jimmy Martin (possibly James), born 28 November, year unknown but possibly between 1938 - 1944. He was a very good singer (I believe he sang in pubs) and knew my mother, Sylvia Brady in Herne Bay in 1964. I was born in 1965 and my name is Joanna(Brady). Jimmy is Scottish I think, at least he had a scottis accent when my mother knew him and had a brother called John, and two sisters who lived in Canterbury at the time - names unknown. Last heard of he was Manager of The Belle Vue pub in Cliftonville, Margate, Kent in the early 70's. I grew up not knowing my birth father and my mother has only this year told me any details about him. I hope that someone somewhere can help put me in touch, not much to go on I know but fingers crossed! | |
