| Message: | Hi my dad has always believed that he was the oldest child in his family, but has recently been told that before his mom & dad were married, his dad John W Hill had a child ( possibly a daughter) my dad last year was diagnosed with terminal cancer and would love to find his half sister for him.....the only details I have are as follows.... The child was born before 1944 (as that was the year my dad was born) I don't know the mothers name, but the fathers name was John W Hill ( jack) his last address was Warstones Drive Wolverhampton. He paid money to the child until she was 16. These are the only details I have....if anybody could help or give any info even if you think it wouldn't help, it may just lead to something....my dad only found out two days ago that he has a half sister, and I would really like to find her for him. I am Eileen his sister who loves him very much and has tried very hard over the years to find him. I now live in West Yorkshire and if I find him, will drop everything to come and see him. Some additional information: We have an elder sister Kathleen still living in Sunderland, another sister Sheila died about 15 yrs ago, we have a brother George. We lived in Redhouse Sunderland and Kevin went to English Martyrs school Redhouse. Then he moved to Owthorpe colliery village while I did my nurse training in Sunderland. My grandmother is her younger sister and she is the only one left out of 5 children. Their mum and dad were William Horace and Doris Edith Newman (Geall) and Joyce lived in Sandringham Road, Willesden, Middlesex Willesdon Green in the 1940's. Joyce was about 27years old when she went missing and I know that she may have died as she would be in her 80's today. I would just like to know if she had a good life and what she did with her life?
