| Message: | Hi All,I am trying to get some information about an ex uncle Edmund Kenneth Buck. Was married to my aunty who sent him a dear john on his way home from Burma. I spoke to him a couple of times but I was at sea and 3 three times in London we just missed each other by a couple of hours.He did marry again to a Vilma Dolores Woodhouse in 1959.they both passed on 1977 uncle Ken and 1979 Vilma. Uncle Ken had a sister, named Cecilia. She had two sons and a daughter to her husband.Robert G Stewart married in Liverpool 1931. michael R Stewart was born in 1933 West Derby Liverpool, Graham j Stewart born Bootle 1936, and Pamela I Stewart born Hendon 1942. Pamela married Patrick Hennessey 1971 at Brent London. Graham married Dorothy J Ansell, at Maidenhead Berkshire 1960. Michael married Ena Onions in Liverpool 1956 July quarter 1956. My wife is an NZer we married July quarter 1956 here in Wellington. Knew uncle kens Mum and went to visit her during the war at Essendine Mansions Maida Vale. Her and my mum were great friends. If any one can help as I am trying to finish my family genealogy. Uncle Ken was always my hero. can almost hear his voice from one Sunday morning (1943)for 30 seconds when the troops gave a message over the radio, to family. From Burma or India. | Message: | Iam looking for christine who lived in battersea and married a roy charles edward weaving in the late 40,s early 50s, had a son born in 1955 his name was geoffery roy weaving, they lived in tonsley street wandsworth untill geoff was about 3years old and his grandparents brought him up daisy and charlie and they lived in merstone house wendlesworth estate. Has I was led to believe that christine remarried and went abroard, her 4grandchildren are her only relatives left on her sons side and have been searching for years, any one out there that may have known christine or roy back in the 50s and possibly knows where she may be please get in touch. recent info is that christine was living in sanderstead surrey in 1965 kendall street or road dont know if she had any children to her husband malcolm chard but if any one out there is reading this and you are a friend or related please contact me, if christine reads this l want you to know that there must have been reasons why you left and l always believe that there is two sides to a story but my children all grown up now with children of their own and would love to meet their grandmother and great grandmother any info would be great. | |
