| Message: | I am looking for anyone that knew my Dad, Frank. He was in the signals regiment from 1947-1954. I believe he was stationed in Germany in 1954 when he came out to marry my mum Jean. He had wanted her to join him in the army but she wouldn't so he came out. I know he regretted it as he loved army life. Sadly Dad passed away in 2004 aged 75 but I would love to be in touch with anyone who may have known him. I would like to know his army career in full. | Message: | I have an old photo of my mum, Betty Murray (later married Don McDowell) when she was in the army - it's a group photo - underneath it are the words RACE Depot, Quens Camp Guildford 1952. There are a number of signatures on the back such as KB Lawley, JA Mellors, Brigid M Crouch etc. etc. I just wanted to say that mum passed away peacefully on 22 January 2010 in Perth Western Australia after a long battle with cancer.
