We’re sorry to tell you that Missing You will be shutting down on 23 December 2014.
Although people can still respond to messages until that date, you will no longer be able to sign up to post new messages.
Missing You has helped to reunite hundreds of friends and relatives over the years and it is with great regret that we have to terminate this much-loved free service. Pressure of paid-for work means we simply can’t maintain it any longer. Support for the site has ceased and we will not be able to respond to enquiries.
Welcome to Missing-You.NET
Formed in 1998, Missing You has helped thousands of people to get in touch with family and friends they've lost touch with.
It's a free and instant on-line messaging service designed to help you contact:
- Missing Persons
- Old Friends
- Distant Relatives
- Former Workmates
- Forces Buddies
More than 25,000 people from around the world visit Missing You every week. Our success stories have attracted national and regional media coverage, and the website is linked from the BBC's main site as part of its ongoing campaign, The Search.
Our Missing You service is free and will remain so. But if you are pleased at how it has worked for you - or want to ensure its long-term future for others seeking long-lost friends or family - you can help by making a donation here. Half of all donations will go to Shelter, the charity for the homeless.
