| Message: | I am looking for anyone that knew my Dad, Frank. He was in the signals regiment from 1947-1954. I believe he was stationed in Germany in 1954 when he came out to marry my mum Jean. He had wanted her to join him in the army but she wouldn't so he came out. I know he regretted it as he loved army life. Sadly Dad passed away in 2004 aged 75 but I would love to be in touch with anyone who may have known him. I would like to know his army career in full. He joined at 18 and was born in Royston, Barnsley in 1929. Lynne | |
