My mother originally came from Poole in Dorset and went to bristol to give birth, being an unmarried catholic girl (as was the way in 1961) I was born on 6th Oct 1961 in Bristol and passed to Nazareth House childrens home in Plymouth awaiting adoption via the Catholic adoption service.
