| Message: | I'm looking for my half-sister, Barbara. She would have been born in 1944 in England where my father, Harold Clayton Hodgson, of Canada, was stationed. He married Gladys (I don't know her last name), said to have been from Brighton, and they had one daughter, Barbara Hodgson. After the war, Gladys came over to Canada under the war brides programme, but "things did not work out" and she returned to England with her daughter. My father later remarried and had four other children. Barbara would now be about 56 years old. The last photo I have of her shows her at 5 1/2 years old, in August 1949. The inscription behind the photo says "taken at Hayling Island”. | |
