| Message: | I am having problems trying to find the birth-place of my great-great grandfather and mother. They were James and Elizabeth Morrison. I think originally from Ireland - Elizabeth definitely was. They settled in Gateshead Tyne & Wear and had two children. A son Michael and a daughter Catherine. I know all about Michael, but cannot find any information about Catherine. James worked in the iron works by the River in Gateshead. Catherine was born in 1859. She is on the 1871 Census as living in Wallsend by then. Can anyone help. Thanks | |
