He married Margaret McAlister 6 Dec 1977,in Campbeltown and lived there in 1881 re Census. and as of 1895 had 8 children. Gfather John b, Jan 1896, Janet b 1879,Catherine b,1885, Margaret 1880, Elizabeth 1896, Alex 1891,Archie 1889 and Duncan 1892. John born abt 1854 was our g grandfather. We need to find his fathers info who was also John Donaldson born 3 March 1829.
