| Message: | looking for my dad's twin sister, you might not know you have a sibling. you and my dad were born on the 29th september 1941. my dad's name is robert (bob) edward lockwood, born in monmouth anchor cottages. mother: doreen elizabeth margaret lockwood. mother left you both with your grandmother to look for your father overseas when you were about two years old. your grandmother died on a tractor, then you were put into a home, but your mother never came back. i'm julia, his daughter, your niece. you also have a nephew, anthony, and your brother is married to margaret lockwood. would you like to get in touch? does anybody know any information on this? any other information about robert having a sister or anything else would be helpful. ps. the home you were put in was called brom yard children's home, then robert was fostered from a children's home to a Mr. and Mrs. William Jones. My father was led to believe that he was one of a twin, we haven't got the original birth certificate of my fathers, the copy was made 9th January 1957, no time of birth stated on it, or number next to his name. | |
