| Message: | Seeking identity of "Marty", RAF Flying (or Pilot) Officer. Trained with BCATP near Winnipeg, Canada 1942-43. Described as from West Bromwich, about 5'9", fair haired and about 27 years old in 1943. Marty was returned to the UK May '43 and later reported KIA over France Sept. 43. He would be my birth father. I've been searching for his identity for over 15 years. I would welcome contact with relatives or former RAF who trained with the BCATP near Winnipeg until 1943. Many thanks. | |
