Category: Adoptions
Seeking:  Unknown Female Picture
Location:  Greater London : London
Message:  We are seeking information regarding this unknown lady. All we know is that this photograph was taken in 1946 somewhere in the London area. This lady was very good friends with a relative of ours. She could have been in her early twenties at the time. Any news of this lady would be appreciated. Please email me if you recognise or know the whereabouts of this lady. Many thanks.

Message:  We met at a dance at RAF Swinderby in summer 1970. After going out together for only about a week, I was posted to Weston-super - Mare, but didn't know where I was going at the time. We did not make a note of each others' names and addresses. I only know that you worked in the poultry processing industry(chickens) and that you lived in North Hykeham. It would be great to know how you got onI got out of the RAF in 1982 and had quite an eventful life since.

Message:  ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: My father was located 3 miles southwest of Tredegar Park, Newport, England from Aug 1944-Dec 1944. His company was transferred to France at that time. Woman's name was Eileen, her son would have been born approx. May to September 1945. She did keep in contact with my aunt until late 1949 or early 1950. He had also visited Liverpool and London during his brief stay in England. I have recently discovered that my father had a relationship with a young English woman during WWII and had a son with her. I would like to know if there is a way to go about finding the son, my brother, or any relatives. I have very little information to go on. All I know is that my father arrived in England on Aug 25, 1944 then transferred to Germany at some point and arrived back in the States on Apr 18, 1946. He was assigned to the Army 123rd Armored Ordnance Maintenance Battalion. He supposedly wrote to one of his sisters telling her about the situation. My aunt corresponded with the young woman for a period of time. Unfortunately, both my father and my aunt have passed away. My father's name was Nick Allison, his sister was Katie Allison Rector Any assistance or advice you could give me would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.
